Throughout its many years of operation, the CDx Education and Training Program was keen to promote
the professional development of it's staff and students. Anyone
interested in participating in any of the workshops listed,
or any other workshops not listed here, could contact the
Program Director to discuss options.
Many of the courses listed below (and
many other courses NOT listed) were provided Australia-wide
through AIM and APESMA. The Centre covered all costs
incurred in attending a workshop, provided it was for bone
fide personal development, however the Centre would would not finance your
business degree!

Media Skills Workshop for Scientists
Learn how to make the media work for you. This practical
2-day workshop teaches you to give your message to the media
with confidence, practice your interview technique (in front

Achievement Through Teams: Leadership
in Innovation
The course design is specific to the needs of R&D
technical project leaders; brings together participants
from across organisations & functions; encourages integration
of professional behaviour with personal goals; and encourages
leadership through trust, respect for others and generating
enthusiasm for a project. The course is run as three residential
periods (modules) of five days duration: (1) Self-Management,
(2) Team Building, and (3) Organisation Culture & the
Future of R&D. The CRC Secretariat
