The CRC for Diagnostics (CDx) partners with companies and
research organizations to discover and develop new products,
and advance our technologies. We aim to create value for our
partners and look for a fair share of that value for the CDx.
The exact form CDx’s share of the value takes is very
flexible. Depending on the partner, it can include any or
all of up-front license fees, research funding, technology
advancement funding, milestone payments, royalties on product
sales, geographic or indication rights, product or corporate
equity etc
We can provide commercial exclusivity for defined fields.
Our existing partnerships tend to be highly collaborative
with both CDx and the partner involved in program design and
in operation.
We intend to continue to enter into collaborations to expand
applications of our technologies and to accelerate the commercialisation
of products. We will pursue additional collaborations in various
forms, including research and development agreements, licensing
agreements and joint ventures. These collaborations permit
integration of the technology and resources of our partners
with our technology, while allowing CDx to pursue opportunities
outside the scope of these collaborations.
